Mobile X download without extensions

Browser extensions do not exist on mobile Safari the way they do on desktop Chrome. PasteGrab's link-based flow works on phones.

X app → Share → Copy link → mobile browser → PasteGrab → Preview → Download.

Only posts with video attachments work — text and image-only posts will not produce MP4.

iPhone workflow

Use Safari for best download integration with Files. Paste the x.com status URL, pick MP4 or MP3, complete the job.

Protected accounts fail preview — confirm the post plays in a private Safari tab logged out.

Android workflow

Chrome handles downloads to the Downloads folder. Same copy-link steps from the X app.

If the link opens the X app instead of browser, use Share → Copy link rather than Open in browser from timeline.
